Specialties
We provide auto service and repair for foreign and domestic cars and trucks. We repair most makes and models. Services include items such as brake system repairs, timing belts, oil changes, a/c service and repair and all other general maintenance items.
Jim's Auto Service is also an Amsoil synthetic lubricants stocking dealer with many items in stock. Stocked items include: EA oil filters, engine oils for gas and diesel engines as well as motorcycles. Automatic transmission fluids, manual transmission fluid, gear oils, coolant, 2 stroke oil, fuel and engine flush additives. If we don't have it, we can order it for you.

Jim’s Auto Service is located in North Phoenix, convenient to both the Loop 101 and I-17, near 27th Avenue and Deer Valley Road. For a map and directions, please see below. We are open Monday through Friday by appointment.

About Jim
Jim has over 20 years experience working on cars. His passion for all things automotive started at an early age as he learned from his father, a retired mechanic, the intricacies of auto repair and maintenance. He took auto shop all through high school and got straight A's. He moved from California to Arizona to attend Universal Technical Institute in 1991.
After graduation, he went to work for Lou Grubb Chevrolet, which later became Autonation/Power Chevrolet. He worked at the dealership for nearly 17 years.
Jim opened the shop in June 2010 with a desire to have his own business where he could treat his customers the way he felt they should be treated, and to provide honest auto care. The shop has been open for a couple of years now and Jim continues to strive to provide the highest standard of care for all of his customers.
